The Butibori Industrial Area is the largest in all of Asia in terms of area. The estate’s largest unit is Indorama Synthetics, which manufactures synthetic polyester yarn. In Butibori IT park, third one being developed by MIDC in the city, companies like Mantri Realty, HCl Corporation and Sai IT solutions have already taken land. An area of 443 acres has been reserved for the Butibori’s IT Park. Other notable units in Butibori include the power transmission company KEC, Hyundai unitech, ACC Nihon castings Ltd. The estate also houses a number of other textile units, a washing machine plant belonging to the videocon group(Electrolux), besides several medium sized units that manufactures variety of products. In addition, the first food park in the state of Maharashtra is situated in the estate. Reliance Energy is coming up with power plant near Indorama Unit. Couple of good schools are already in the near vicinity (Ira international, St. Claret School). Logistics companies like Gati, All Cargo, CONCOR are already plans to set up base near Butibori very near to Nagpur- Hyderabad national highway(NH 7) and Butibori Railway station.
